About us: a fabric cutting room between tradition and innovation

Our mission is to be a point of reference and excellence in the textile sector, combining tradition and innovation in a sustainable path.

Our goal is to build solid and lasting partnerships in the textile supply chain, from Haute Couture maisons to clothing, lingerie, and beachwear production companies, offering a top-quality cutting service and a collaboration experience based on trust, transparency, and professionalism.

• 1982 – The origins Rosanna Filippini founds Rosanna Taglio in a small tailoring workshop set up in the garage of her home. With only two collaborators, she begins a journey that combines artisan passion and enterprise, cutting jeans and lingerie.
  
  
• 1990-2000 – From workshop to production company. In less than ten years, the business grew, and the first owned 1,000 m² factory was built, creating a true fabric cutting room. During these years, the first CAD software and the first Investronica automatic cutting machine were introduced, along with the first thermoforming machines: a decisive step towards the industrialization of the production process for lingerie and also beachwear.
  
  
• 2000-2005 – Innovation and new skills. The entry of Anna Maria Ciampichetti into the company brought new energy and vision. The machine park was expanded with 4 new Lectra/Investronica CAD workstations, a second Lectra cutting line, and a KUKA robotic system for cutting bra cups for underwear and swimwear. This marked the beginning of a phase where innovation and technology became the driving principles of our cutting room.
  
  
• 2006-2009 – Continuous growth. The production plant was expanded to about 2,000 m², and a new adjacent building destined for warehousing was acquired. The company thus consolidated its production and logistics capacity for lingerie, beachwear, and first clothing garments. Processing services were also enriched, including collarette cutting, fabric lamination, bias tapes, and fabric thermoforming.

• 2009-2016 – Technological evolution. The first cutting line, now obsolete, was replaced with a new generation Lectra model. The fabric preforming room was expanded, and new machines were introduced for processing rigid fabric and 3D spacer, fabrics and materials increasingly requested in the fashion and lingerie sectors.
  
  
• 2018-2021 – Fabric cutting 4.0 company also for clothing production companies.
  The company makes a further leap in quality: renewal of fabric spreading machinery, implementation of software equipped with machine learning for processing multi-model markers, and the purchase of a third cutting line with a laser projection system and camera for logo and check fabric cutting. It is the consecration of a path that leads Rosanna Taglio to be a technological and artisan partner at the service of Haute Couture maisons for clothing production.
  
  
• 2022-2024 – Market trends and Haute Couture maisons. The company changes its skin and transforms; given the market trends and the decline of Italian lingerie and beachwear production, a further leap in quality is made, effectively strengthening and consolidating the path undertaken in previous years for the production of Haute Couture garments. Entry into this market leads us to increase the volumes of single-ply logo cutting and check fabric cutting, as well as adding the service of fabric roll lamination.
