Our production of bias tapes, or covered straps, enhances sartorial art through the creation of refined and personalized details for every garment. Through meticulous techniques, we transform selected materials into elegant components that enrich the aesthetics of clothing and lingerie.
The bias tape is the rolled/covered strap typical of swimwear and underwear: a thin but decisive element for the aesthetics, comfort, and durability of the garment. It originates from a strip of fabric transformed into a tube and finished with dedicated stitching; it houses, when required, elastic inserts or reinforcement cords.
Inside our cutting room operates a sewing laboratory specialized in the creation of bias tapes. We use professional machines with interchangeable folders to obtain straps:
flat,
round/tubular,
curled.
The machine configuration (guides, feet, tensions) is defined on your fabric and the desired hand, so as to maintain diameter regularity, absence of twists, and clean seams even on long batches.
